Shina was a Data Engineering Manager at Devoteam, a large System Integrator in Europe where a lead a team of 15, including data engineers, backend engineers and full stack developers.
He has 16 years overall experience as a software engineer. It was in 2013 however that he got motivated to specialize in Big Data and ML. He hasn’t looked back since then, enjoying every minute.
He helped enterprise clients in Canada, Spain, Belgium, UK and US work on use-cases such as ETL/ELT, Data Modelling, Data Architecture, Data Governance and Security, Data Warehouses and Data Lakes in the Cloud.
Shina has advanced knowledge of Python, SQL, Scala, Kafka, Kubernetes, BigQuery, Snowflake, Terraform, Rest APIs in enterprise environment across Retail, Telco and AdTech/MarTech.
Shina enjoys working on both existing data estates or creating new data estate from scratch.
In his spare time, he enjoys teaching and coaching software engineers with a passion for data engineering and AI.

Akinbiyi (British) brings his wealth of experience as a multi-cloud architect and cloud security engineer from leading firms like EY, PwC, HSBC and Lloyds Bank. He holds more than 14 certifications in Azure, Google Cloud and AWS, some of which include Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer, AWS Machine Learning Specialty, AWS Big Data Specialty, etc.
Akinbiyi has a proven track record in implementing robust data architecture with strong cloud security measures in place. He has experience driving cloud migration strategies with best practices to deliver client outcomes.
He holds a PhD from the prestigious Imperial College, London.
